He joined the family business at the age of 20, arriving today to hold the position of Managing Director of ITLM, he Group that controls Italmondo S.p.a., a world leader in the field of international logistics services.
From the experience of those who created the history of logistics, he designed and founded Sendabox, the first shipping comparison site in Italy, an integrated logistics platform for E-commerce that, with the acquisition of the Io Ritiro platform, completes the offer of the logistics supply chain. Sendabox was the firstborn of SupernovaHub, the Corporate venture accelerator, of which Federico is the creator and founder, and co-founder and member of the board at Termostore. Firmly believing in the strength of innovation, he invested early stage in the Borsa del Credito of which he is now also a member of the board of directors.

Smart Logistics

An ecosystem for the promotion and creation of Startups in the E-commerce & Smart Logistic sectors, focused on medium-long term sustainability.

Traditional incubators present a project and raise capital from third parties: we do the opposite. Starting from business ideas often born in-house, we support the analysis and verification of the market fundamentals in which it is possible to innovate business models and finance them directly with their own capital.

The context in which it is generated forms the base of this hybrid model. In other words, that of a traditional corporate base, which has provided a solid foundation of expertise on which to build. The mindset of Supernova hub is that of a "traditional" entrepreneur, but one capable of creating completely digital companies from scratch that can achieve success on the market in a short time. The expertise that have provided the foundation is the logistics of the ITLM Group with a strong expertise in the E-commerce. The coming together of the two has allowed us to innovate a traditional sector and is an interesting case for anyone involved in E-commerce and who wants to make smart all those logistics processes that inevitably accompany any online shopping experience.

WHERE WE
STARTED

We are the ITLM-Group corporate venture ITLM-Group,the Group led by Federico Pozzi Chiesa that controls Italmondo Spa, one of the world's leading companies in the Italian and international logistics services sector.

From the experience of those who have done business for 60 years, we put into practice the expertise acquired in logistics and E-commerce, thanks to the high level of IT skills, the network of investors and business angels and the experience of a proven model of successful investment, we have created a group of innovative companies with a very precise focus on E-commerce and Smart Logistics. The first Startup, conceived in 2015 by Federico Pozzi Chiesa, was Sendabox.it, a management tool for small and medium-sized E-commerce companies to optimise logistics processes, and which later became a partner of large groups such as Dalani Westwing and Ebay in Belgium.

ARE NOW

From our first Startup, we have come a long way and we have started a new incubation process: Supernova Hub, a one-of-its-kind nationally that upends the classic categories of those who work as incubators and which, in July 2018, rewarded us with inclusion in the register of the CCIAA (Chamber of Commerce) as one of the 35 certified incubators in Italy.

Always evolving yet without ever forgetting its origins, today Supernova hub is an urban redevelopment project of an area of 14,000 sqm, aimed at creating an innovation & coworking district that has the common goal the desire to fuse the history of the venue with contemporary architecture and the natural environment. It is a new way of conceiving work spaces aimed at creating a strategic hub and a reference point for promoting know-how, networking and collaboration in the fields of E-commerce and Smart Logistics.
